Valentine's Day is on Wednesday February 14th and Big Muddy's is ready to make your day special. We will be open all day with terrific lunch specials. Starting at 4:00 we will begin the Sweetheart Buffet which will have Crab Legs, Prime Rib, Fried Shrimp, Pasta, potatoes and vegetables plus the full Soup and Salad bar for $21.99.
       We offer full menu on this night. We will have two Chef inspired dishes. You can create your own  Surf and Turf option of a New York Strip and you can add scallops or lobster to complete your meal. Our seafood selection this year will be a Red Snapper in a cream sauce with capers accompanied by asparagus and hollandaise sauce. The Red snapper will be served as a meal with the soup and salad bar. We will have perfect drink specials and we look forward to your reservation.
      Today Valentine's Day is known for Flowers and hearts but in the middle ages, you pinned your heart on your sleeve. A name would be drawn for you and you would have all week to pin the name on your sleeve so your valentine would see your intentions. Another superstition from years ago was that if you saw a squirrel on Valentine's day and you were not married, your husband would be a cheapskate.

We would like to honor Dennis Standard with our Yukon Jack Day on March 7th this year. This is the birthday of a man who loved his family deeply and had a big heart and often a helping hand for many employees throughout the years.                                             Sweet Potato Enchilada's We are offering two amazing dishes this week as we are also offering Sweet Potato Enchilada's.  We love bringing you the enchilada our way, with creamy sweet potato, Spanish rice and a topping of Queso. A great vegetarian option! This Mexican dish originated with the Mayans, as simple as wrapping a tortilla around fish. Upon searching, I thought I'd add some fun facts about Mexico:  It was Mexico that introduced chocolate to the world. The green bean has been cultivated in Mexico for about 7000 years. Mexico City sinks about ten inches each year.

Super Bowl 52 is right around the corner. Let's have extra fun this year and celebrate all weekend. We start out with a " Pre" Super Bowl party with live music and the band Fast Forward. Come early before the band as we have our Prime Rib and Shrimp buffet that we serve every Saturday Night. On Sunday we will have our Brunch and our new winter special of $1 off between 10-11 A.M. The food that is consumed on Super Bowl Sunday comes in second only to Thanksgiving. Be sure to try our Chicken wings and Chicken knockers in all your favorite flavors.
